North Pole resident Brian L. Myers, 64, died of an apparent heart attack Dec. 16, 2007, at home.
In accordance with his wishes, the family plans to hold a small memorial service in North Pole in January. Brian's ashes will be laid to rest with his wife Linda's ashes in North Pole and on Linda's family's farm in Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to the Fairbanks Cancer Treatment Center at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, 1650 Cowles St., Department 18A, Fairbanks 99701-5998, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
