Marilyn E. Evans Marilyn Elizabeth Evans, 54, of Hughes, surrounded by family and friends, went to be with our Lord on Jan. 14, 2008, after fighting a long and hard battle with cancer.
Marilyn was born in Hughes to William and Rita Koyukuk on Aug. 5, 1953.
She received her GED in 1978, then went on to pursue her registered nursing degree, which she received in 1982. She was employed at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for 19 years. In 2001 she accepted a position at Chief Andrew Isaac Health
