Longtime Juneau resident James Thomas Peacock died Feb. 29, 2008, in Seattle. He was 58.

Born in 1950, he was a Juneau resident for 29 years. He worked as a building maintenance man for Chapel by the Lake. He earned a Bachelor of Science in geology from the University of California, Davis.

No services are planned at this time.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sara Peacock; son, Dewey Peacock; mother, Fannie Peacock; four brothers; one sister; and numerous nieces and nephews
