Anchorage, AK - After the cruise ship, The Spirit of Glacier Bay, ran aground in Glacier Bay last week, the ship was forced to return to Ketchikan for repairs. However the vessel was forced to reroute to Wrangell after it was discovered that the ship was taking on water.

Inspectors and divers will scour the ship's hull to determine whether or not the ship's integrity has been jeopardized.

Following the accident, the ship was on course for a dry-dock in Ketchikan where ti would undergo repairs.

Fortunately for the passengers of the Spirit, the coast guard was able to offload them shortly after the cruise liner ran aground.

Since the grounding, the ship ship's four tours this month have been canceled. Service is scheduled to resume in late July.
