A moderate earthquake was felt widely in several south-central Alaska communities, but there have been on immediate reports of damage. The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the magnitude 5.2
quake was centered about 50 miles southwest of Homer. It occurred about 3:30 p.m. Thursday. The quake was located at a depth of 43 miles. |
