Mechele Linehan Murder Conviction Overturned
The Alaska court of appeals decided Friday morning, that Mechele Linehan deserves a re-trial, due to evidence that should never have been allowed during her initial trial. That evidence includes a letter writtn by the victim, Kent Leppink, before he was killed. Steve Brawn Reporting.
Trek To the Top of Mt. Hunter
Masatoshi Kuriaki has already been to the top of Denali and Mt. Forakker, both solo and in the middle of winter. Now he has his sights on the winter solo triple crown of the Alaska Range, with his attempt of Mt. Hunter. The 14,000 foot hunter isn't the tallest, but is the most technical. Steve Brawn Reporting.
Rural Alaska to get High Speed Internet
About 65 communities around the state are getting high speed internet. It's all part of an 88 million dollar federal grant from the departmetn of agriculture. Megan Mazurek reporting.
