Chad news

Two hunters were rescued after getting swept down the Chulitna River while attempting to cross it on a moose hunt.
David Sapp and Jason Herring, both stationed at Eielson Air
Force Base, were crossing the East Fork of the Chulitna River when
they were carried down the river, said John Leonard, a ranger at
Denali National Park and Preserve.
They became stranded on the river's opposite bank and couldn't
get back to their vehicle.
Sapp called his wife on a cell phone, and she alerted Alaska
State Troopers in Fairbanks.
Leonard and trooper Thomas Lowy located the two about three
hours later. They were cold and wet but neither required medical
attention.
