A notorious murder case that Alaskans thought was over was brought back to light Friday.

A Ketchikan grand jury re-indicted Rachelle Waterman in the 2004 murder of her mother Lauri.

The 2006 trial of now 20-year-old Waterman, originally from Craig, Alaska ended in a hung jury. Now, she is charged with conspiracy, murder, and kidnapping among others. A judge previously dismissed a murder indictment against Waterman accussed of plotting with 2 former boyfriends to kill her mother.

Back in December the appeals court overturned the judges decision ruling first three-quarters of the interview is now usable in court.

Those two boyfriends, Jason Arrant and Brian Radel, who were both 24 at the time of the incident, pleaded guilty to murder and testified against Rachelle Waterman in the '06 trial.
