The Anchorage Assembly says
construction of a bridge across Knik Arm from the city to Point
MacKenzie should be delayed. The assembly voted unanimously for the
delay last night (Wednesday). The assembly's vote is only advisory
but three assembly members are part of the joint state-city
planning committee that will make the decision to kill, keep or
delay the controversial bridge project.
