Alaska's largest city is getting a new mayor today.

Dan Sullivan will be sworn into office at 4 p.m. today at the Performing Arts Center Discovery Theater.

Sullivan defeated former state Rep. Eric Croft in May in a run-off election to become Anchorage's seventh mayor.

He replaces Mark Begich, who resigned after defeating incumbent U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens in the 2008 Senate race.

Mark Claman (CLAY'-man) has been acting mayor. Be sure to follow the story by tuning in to ABC Alaska News at 5:00, 6:00, and 10:00.
