Additional villages have been added to the list of flood-damaged communities receiving aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Gov. Sarah Palin's office says FEMA has approved the state's request for more communities to receive disaster relief funds because of this year's severe spring flooding.

The original federal disaster declaration occurred while flooding was continuing.

Federal funds pay as much as $30,300 per affected household.
