Police say a drug deal in a Fairbanks motel ended in a shootout in which three men were wounded.
Lt. Dan Welborn told The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner bullets were flying early Tuesday at the Super 8 Motel on Airport Way.
There were eight people from Anchorage in the room when four men
entered and ordered them to the floor. A fight erupted and at least a dozen shots were fired.
One man was treated and released at a hospital, one is in stable condition and one critical.
Welborn says police recovered drugs from the room, and investigators believe they have identified everyone involved.
