The shooting took place yesterday on the 1600 block of Russian Jack Circle. Witnesses say shots were hear at 4 a.m. Police say that is when Christon Shannon Lee of Anchorage and Matthew Nick Peterson of Wasilla, both 19-years-old, were killed.
After the gun went off, witnesses say they saw a black man run towards a car driven by a second person, get in and speed off
Both Lee and Peterson have criminal records with convictions ranging from tresspassing and burglary to assault with a deadly weapon.
Despite the evidence collected at the crime scene, police still have many unanswered questions.
