The Airman accused of secretly drugging his pregnant wife to abort their unborn child was in court yesterday.

Testimony revealed many details including how his wife learned of her husbands actions.

Airman First Class Scott Boie was tried today in a General Court Martial with 4 charges against him.

Boie allegedly ground up the drug Meisoprostol and then secretly put the drug in his wife's food, with the intention of aborting their child.

For this, the 23-year-old is being accused of causing the death of their unborn child and for assaulting his wife.

His wife, 21-year-old Catylin Boie, didn't find out about it until 3 months after her miscarriage, during a softball tournament. She had been on the phone arguing with her husband, when a friend told her that the miscarriage was no accident.

Later that night she recorded a phone conversation with Boie where he profusely apologized and admitted to drugging her at least 4 different times.

While Boie was in confinement, the military recorded another phone conversation between him and his wife where he tried to convince her to drop all charges. Major Shane Cohen, the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, says, "the convening authority, Lieutenant General Dana Atkins, the 11th Air Force Commander, has referred those charges to trial and he is the only one at this point who can either withdraw or dismiss those charges against Airman Boie."

Catylin also testified that Boie suggested she take Vitamin-C for pre-natal vitamins, which also turned out to be another at home abortion method.

It is not yet known whether Boie will testify or remain silent.
