Alaska State Troopers say a 35-year-old Northway man was killed in a car crash on the Alaska Highway about 20 miles east of the Canada border.
Anthony Sam was pronounced dead at the scene Thursday night.
The case remains under investigation and a troopers spokeswoman could not say whether Sam was the driver or whether others were in the car.
Troopers in Tok just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday took a call on the crash at Mile 1252 Alaska Highway.
Investigators say a sedan veered out of control and rolled 40 to 50 feet down a steep embankment, landing upside down in a shallow creek.
Sam was ejected from the car.
