Anchorage police say a 51-year-old man suffering what appeared to be severe burns was found in the shed of an unoccupied mobile home.
Carl Nashookpuk was taken by ambulance Monday afternoon to a
hospital.
Police took the call just after 2:30 p.m. and found Nashookpuk in the shed on Chugach Way off Arctic Boulevard near 36th Avenue.
Detectives from the police assault unit are investigating. Nashookpuk was not able to communicate with officers.
