American Airlines says one of its jets made an emergency landing on Shemya Island in the Aleutians after a fire warning light went off. Flight 175 was flying from Dallas-Fort Worth to Tokyo yesterday. The passengers were evacuated and the cargo was removed from the Boeing 777, but no fire was found. The jet later flew to Anchorage.
