Anchorage police have released the name of an Alaska Native man found dead in a downtown homeless camp earlier this month.

Police found 54-year-old Michael Apangalook lying on the ground on July 2.

Lt. Dave Parker says no foul play is suspected. He says the investigation of the death continues pending autopsy results from the medical examiner's office.
