With a 4-2 record and a six game win streak, things appear to be going great for the Alaska Wild this season. Off the field however, the Wild players and coaches have gone on strike due to a variety of disagreements with Alaska Wild's team owner David Weatherholt.
When asked about the possibility of a strike, the Wild's Defensive Back Delvin Myles said, "Man... when you got family... guys got wife's kids they have homes back home in texas and florida georgia... what ever you have to take care of the bills. You fly here come here to be a productive citizen and play good football for the state of Alaska and things aren't getting taken care of and your money isn't right your going to be a little bit bitter and your going to have grumblings in the locker room..."
Details have not been given as to the extent of disagreements held by the players and staff.
