IFL Introduces New Alaska Club
The ABC Alaska Sports Team: Mark Drake and Lauren Magiera learned late today that the Indoor Football League has accepted its newest club, the Arctic Predators. The Predators who will be located out from the Mat-Su valley in Wasilla, will become the third team from Alaska to join the IFL, behind the Fairbanks Grizzlies and the Alaska Wild.
The new valley club will kick off in the spring of 2010, and it will have ex Alaska Wild Head Coach, Hans Deemer, as the Predator president. Deemer says, "We are excited to join the Indoor Football League and help support football here in the last frontier."
